Established in the 1800s as the principle of “like cures like”. Homeopathy is used to cure a number of ailments through a physics-based model. Natural substances are diluted so that no molecule of the substance exists and only the energetic imprint of the remedy remains. In this way, the body utilizes the energetic properties of the natural substance, rather than the physical component, to bring about change. By focusing on the patient’s symptoms rather than the disease category, each homeopathic prescription is tailored specifically to the individual at that point in time through thorough history intake and physical exam. Homeopathy is used to treat any physical, mental or emotional imbalance.
